Beautiful 68-degree day today as we set out on our bikes to do a little geocaching and find the lighthouse everyone is talking about. We found two very nice placed geocaches on the way to the actual (light post) as Jeff renamed littlest lighthouse we have ever seen; it would be a good squirrel house. We then proceeded to the round barn, which is located at the bottom of Fintry waterfall. You have to walk up 377 steps to reach the top of the falls, boy am I in bad physical shape. I made it the top because there is four geocaches along the way, which was my incentive. The uphill walk was worth it, beautiful view of the Okanagan Lake. We then returned to our RV and had a little lunch, hot dogs and smoked salmon today. After our strange lunch, we headed out onto the lake with our kayak, fun to explore the shoreline. We returned to camp, it was starting to cool down so Jeff made a wonderful fire. Tonight we are grilling fresh pacific salmon, fresh greens with just picked raspberries and right from the goat farm, goat chevre cheese. Hard to believe you can eat like this in the middle of the forest, oh but we do. Now to settle in and have a glass of wine by the fire, with a panoramic view of Lake Okanagan does not get better than this. I am pinching myself is this way of life real.
PS: Almost forgot this is our Fourth of July, we are actually the only USA citizens in this ENTIRE campground. So HAPPY 4TH OF JULY USA!!!!!!

I would highly recommend this park and would love to return someday. Lots to explore and never a dull moment.The cites are very large to accommodate most rvs with larger motorhome sites available. At $32.00  a night, you get a fire pit and a  picnic table, no water, electric or sewer.But the restrooms are state of the art, very clean with flush toilets and free tiled showers. Most of the sites have a nice view of lake Okanagan. On Wednesdays they have a Manor House tour, with a five dollar donation you get a guided tour of the house and its history. Well worth the donation.
